the weather becomes very hot in July and August, and the streets are filled with tourists after being relatively uncrowded during the more pleasant months of May and June; most Greeks take their summer holiday during this time. The air becomes very dry and their is very little rainfall; the temperature can very easily climb to over 38°C (100°F) in central Greece. The ocean stays warm late into the summer, and the nightlife is just as active as the buzzing day crowds.

Irene, yet again, was lurking in the the research section of the library. She would visit this portion of the building at least once every other week for the past two months. If one were to know what type of research she was doing they'd merely believe that she was an enthusiast or writing a paper about studies in Superstitions, Witchcraft, and other related topics. Oh but none of them would expect that she would be checking out these books with the intentions of learning about improving her performances in spells and rituals.
Once she had picked out a few books she checked them out to use them at home. All seemed fine. Though unbeknownst to her something new was yet to come.
